Recently opened business offers alternative for CT, MRI scans

Those in need of a CT scan (a type of imaging that uses X-ray techniques to create detailed images of the body) but can’t afford to wait 60-90 days now have an alternative option with an imaging and diagnostics office that opened last year.
Lumina Imaging & Diagnostics opened in 2024 at 30400 Detroit Road, Suite 101. Lumina has three other locations in Mentor, Solon, and Medina.
CEO of Lumina Imaging Lisa Giganti has taken pride in being able to offer an alternative option for patients to get MRIs that are same-day appointments.
“We have hospital quality,” Giganti said.
OpenSided MRI of Cleveland, also at 30400 Detroit Road in Suite 30, Premier Physicians Diagnostics, 25200 Center Ridge Road, and Specialty Teleradiology at 26650 Primrose Lane also offer CT scanning.
Lumina’s Westlake location is open from 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday and closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
