Who should get one: If you are age 40-75 and smoke now or have quit within the last 15 years, talk to your provider about this test.

Calcium Cardiac Scoring

Purpose: Specialized CT scan for the early detection of coronary artery disease
Who should get one: If you are age 40-65, obese, have a history of smoking, and a family history of heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes, talk to your provider about this test.
