Does Lumina accept my insurance plan?

Lumina accepts all major Commercial and Medicare insurance plans. With insurance plans added throughout the year, contact Lumina if you don’t see your plan listed to confirm the most up-to-date information. Lumina currently accepts, but is not limited to, the following health plans:

Commercial Health Plans:
  • Aetna
  • Anthem
  • Cigna
  • Clarity
  • Health Ohio Network
  • Medical Mutual (including CLE-Care HMO, MetroHealth Employee Plan, MetroHealth Select and Skyway)
  • United Healthcare
Medicare Advantage Health Plans:
  • Aetna Medicare Advantage
  • Anthem Medicare Advantage
  • Cigna Medicare Advantage
  • Devoted Medicare Advantage
  • Medical Mutual Medicare Advantage

Lumina is not currently a Medicaid provider.

Who will handle the pre-authorization for my imaging?

Lumina will work with your referring provider to ensure all pre-authorization requirements have been met prior to your appointment.

Can I schedule my appointment online?

No, at this time you must call Lumina to request an appointment. We hope to add that feature in the near future. Please call 440-592-6060 to schedule your appointment.

Why do I have a Lumina MyChart account? How do I access it?

You can use your Lumina MyChart account in three convenient ways:

  • To review your scan reports
  • To view billing
  • To communicate with Lumina

To access your Lumina MyChart account, visit mychart.luminaimaging.com, and login using the credentials created upon check-in at your appointment. If you have My Chart from MetroHealth, The Cleveland Clinic or Mercy Health, nothing more is needed. Your report will appear in your same My Chart account.

Why do I have a PowerShare account? How do I access it?

You use the PowerShare account to access and view your images, only if you want to see them. If you created an a PowerShare account upon check-in at your appointment, you can login here: powershare.luminaimaging.com

Is there onsite, off-street parking at the Lumina location nearest me?

All of our facilities do have off-street parking available. Please contact your Lumina Imaging Center for more detailed information. Find the location nearest you, here.

How does Lumina determine pricing for your imaging services?

It’s a flat fee pricing structure. There are no facility fees, hidden costs or unexpected charges. We work with and are in-network for all major payment networks in Ohio, including Aetna, Anthem, Cigna, Medical Mutual, and United Health Care. Call Lumina and provide the contact information for the healthcare provider and we will send the images and reports directly. See our pricing information here.

How do I share images and reports with other healthcare providers?

How can I pay my bill?

You can pay your bill directly at the time of service, or we will bill you for your portion of services rendered. You can also pay online through MyChart.

How much does a CT/MRI cost?

Our pricing before insurance is:
CT / CT with contrast: $350 / $400
MRI / MRI with contrast: $700 / $750

Can I pay at Lumina (cash, credit card, check)?

You can pay with cash, credit card, or personal check at the time of service.
